I had upgraded my jira from 7.3.6 To 7.11.1

I am having all three Core, Software, service Desk in same instance.

I upgraded Core and then in Applications and licenses i updated Software and Service desk.

First when i installed every thing worked fine. later when i re-indexed and updated add-ons.

Now again it is saying me to Install Software and Service desk.. When I try to install, I am unable to install and it is notifying Logs error.

Please help me out,.

Thanks

Typically this scenario indicates that Jira is started, but the Jira Software and the Jira Service Desk plugins are not loaded for some reason.   This can happen for a number of possible causes.  Sometimes it happens because the system is low on resources like CPU and/or memory.   It can also happen when a system plugin needed for those apps has become disabled.  If this happens, a flag is entered into a specific table of the database and consequently those plugins won't startup when Jira starts.

I would start by taking a closer look at the $JIRAHOME/log/atlassian-jira.log file when Jira starts up.   If a plugin fails to load during startup, this log can provide more details about which one and why.

If you do have plugins disabled in Jira, you could run the following SQL command to see which ones are flagged to be disabled in the database:

SELECT * FROM pluginstate where pluginenabled = 'false';

If you want to post back with the results of that query, I could take a closer look to see if perhaps one of these is a system plugin that is required for Jira Software or Jira service desk plugins to load and function properly.
