Extending summary information of an Epic in the backlog?

Hello all,
Thank you for taking your time to read and try answer my question.
Currently i am trying to create a plugin which are to add information to various parts of epics, stories etc. and i have an issue with finding out where to find a specific location on how to add one or more summation to an epic when displayed in the backlog.
I have made an illustrative example by changing the UI code behind to show the exact area of interest. I hope you'll be able to assist in this matter.
