Exporting Jira Tickets to Word or PDF Using REST API

I want to export a Jira ticket as a Word or PDF file. However, not via the Jira platform, but via the rest of the interface. My backend should then use a link where the Word file is provided. Is it possible to export a Jira ticket through the rest of the interface? If yes, how?
