Exporting JIRA reports from Local Excel

Hi ,

I want to use MS Excel in local machine to extract JIRA reports by using macros. Is it possble to do so ?

Jira has a direct export to CSV which generates files Excel can read, but if you want to do the work in excel rather than use those, your macros should call the REST API in Jira to pull the data out of it.

Thanks @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- for the suggestion. I will definitely try macros to call the REST  API in JIRA.
