Export filter results with an automation action

Hello,

I am new to JIRA automation, and was searching if there is an automation action that can help me export the results of a filter in XML format in an automated way, e.g. a nightly 2:00 export of the current issue contents or status.

I did not find such an export-like automation action in the Help. 

Is this possible?

This wouldn't be possible with automation I don't think, but you can do it straight from the filter.  All you need to do is subscribe to the filter and set your requirements.

You can set the subscription to run as often as you'd like, and it will go to your email.  

Having just checked though it does not allow you to change format.

I think it would only be possible with Marketplace add-ons.

Thanks again Liam, I did not make use of these personal subscriptions yet, so thanks for this new information. However I would like to have a daily report in an XML file, to transform certain field contents into a documentation tool format. (release notes for customers, actually).

Thanks anyway Liam, your subscription tip was new to me and appreciated - I now get at least an actual crispy list in my mailbox daily.
