What is the best or easiest way to export a Jira kanban board to a Microsoft PowerPoint slide?
thank you Varun! This will be part of a recurring slide so I'm almost resigned to the fact that cutting-and-pasting a few lines in Jira from several cards in a kanban will be the past of least resistances... sigh.

Totally get it, manual copy-paste is the path of least resistance short-term. Since you mentioned it's recurring though, it might be worth a one-time setup of the Confluence + Jira macro page (option 3), once it's built, it's just re-export instead of re-copying cards each time, could save you a lot of the repetitive pain down the line.

That sounds like a constructive step. Is there any literature or how-to on how to step by step put together the macro and Step #3 in genera?
And second question, what's the best option if it's recurring but there will be some manual alterations to the deck slide and/or the UX of the kanban is different (and of course better) than what Jira/Atlassian can create in their UI?

If you can create a slide from a PDF, in other words the Jira -> PDF -> PowerPoint route works well for you, then make sure you check out the Better PDF Exporter app.
It is a good fit to your use case, because of these at least:
I hope this helps.

Interesting Aron, thank you. Here's a couple of additional wrinkles I'm trying to solve for that I would be interested to hear how you solve or if Better PDF can do:
1) There will need to be some changes or touch-ups to the powerpoint slide after the export. There may be many. Redoing the export each time may not be the ideal experience
2) More importantly, the destination ppt deck slide may be aligned content wise with the Jira Kanban but the UI/UX of it is different as we wanted some that was not the Jira kanban board UX
