Excluding 1 of the teams from Backlog

Hi

I have a board with few projects linked. I would like to exclude one of the Teams inside the project so the Backlog won't be showing issues assigned to them.

How to write a query here? Exclude label 'Teams' with team name 'xxx'? 

I checked some answers here, tried the same but wasn't able to fix it.

We collaborate with each other, however one of the teams which belongs to the project have a 'mini-project' not related to the main one. That's why I want to exclude these team and all issues related.

So every team use own project, or all collaborate on all of them? How do you track that a ticket is assigned to a specific team? By label?

So what is exactly is this "mini project"? Is this an issue with some sub-tasks inside a project that is connected to a board.. or actually a normal project that is included in the backlog?
