I am still in evaluation mode on Jira Service Desk software as trying to ascertain if the product would be fit for purpose.
One crucial part i would need Jira service desk to support is the estimation of time spent on incidents.
ie an incident comes in, and the analyst will put an estimate of time against the ticket and as he/she works on the ticket they will add time etc. Useful for letting customers know how long a ticket is going to take, what our backlog is etc...
I need to be able to add time against billable and non billable
Does anyone know how to do this?
If it is possible, is there a report which would report on outstanding backlog?
