Errors importing Trello board into Jira

Hi folks, 

New to the community and having issues importing our Trello board into Jira.

I've attempted 20 plus times now, with different Trello boards, naming schemes, duplicating the boards, changing ownership, activating Trello's 'Business class' plan and  and even archiving some lists in Trello to progress the import each time. 

Previously I was getting a 'data in unstable state' error, but after archiving a list in Trello, I'm now getting the below.. I'm stumped.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The pasted error messages are saying that there is no correspondence between the column name of the Trello board you are importing and statuses of the workflow of the destination project in Jira.

Now, in order to proceed:

• Let me know if you are importing your Trello board into an already existing Jira project or in a new one
• Confirm you are importing into a Jira Software project
• Provide a screenshot of the workflow of the project you are importing into

I have only tried to import my Trello board into a new project as I didn't know it was possible to import a Trello board into existing projects.

Apologies for the slow reply.

• Let me know if you are importing your Trello board into an already existing Jira project or in a new one - Importing into a new project (I wasn;t aware you could import into an exisiting project either).
• Confirm you are importing into a Jira Software project - Confirmed.
• Provide a screenshot of the workflow of the project you are importing into - The project wont create due to the errors so I cant share a workflow. The process fails and I'm left with between 5 and 8 lists in a kanban board (depending on when the errors happen).

Now, @Tom Freeman , can you please provide a bit more details on what you mean when you say:

I mean, it is my understanding that the project is not created, so I am not sure where is this Kanban board (the original Trello board should not be touched at all, so I am pretty sure it's not that one). 

Also, for the both of you, can you kindly confirm step by step what you do?

Specifically:

1. Did you try changing the project name and key when you re-try to import, or you always use the same one automatically filled-in (this is what I mean when I asked if you import into an existing project or a new one)? 
2. Is the import failing for any Trello board you try to import or only some specific ones?
3. How many users email addresses are you asked to fill-in when importing?
4. Is the process always failing at the same point or every time it is a different one?

Finally, @Tom Freeman , can you please test the import again, choosing a different Project name and key (so, changing the pre-filled one with new values) and, if this fails again, let me know date, time and timezone you performed this test (also confirm your instance is plaXXXXXXXd.atlassian.net).

I am having the same issue trying to import from Trello to JIRA. Below are the steps I went through.

1. Authorized JIRA to access Trello
2. Selected the boards to import
3. Edit the project names and IDs, so the boards would import into new projects (I plan to bulk move them into an existing project and delete the import projects).
4. Mapped users
5. Started the import
6. During import, it got to the point where it successfully created the project, custom fields, etc. and was starting the issue import part of the process. It hung in that state for about 30 seconds, then moved on.
7. The import process asked me to validate what I wanted to do with any new users.
8. Then showed the error screen.

I've tried doing this twice now, and it has done the same thing each time.

This is the specific error:

2021-06-16 14:53:54,328 ERROR - Unexpected failure occurred. Importer will stop immediately. Data may be in an unstable state: Guice configuration errors:

1) No implementation for com.atlassian.logging.log4j.util.StatsdClientProvider was bound.
  while locating com.atlassian.logging.log4j.util.StatsdClientProvider
