Error in creating a project

Hi,

I an starting to use JIRA for the first time. I am trying to create a software development project but some how spaces is created instead of project. Appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this.

Welcome to the community, regarding your question, please note that Jira was under a language change where projects are now called spaces, in some interfaces are still called projects, but keep in mind that they are the same.
