Error: Closing a Sprint is returning error (Next gen. Jira)

Hi,

When closing a sprint we get an error:

Something's gone wrong, refresh a page and try again

Refreshing is not helping.

How to close a sprint? We need to start a new one and we are unable as there is already one active.

Did you report this to Support??

This occurred in our JIRA instance a few months ago and were told it was a bug and they fixed it....
