Epics in Next Gen project do not show up in "Add parent" dropdown
I have a Next Gen product with which we heavily rely on an organized Roadmap via Epics. We cannot associate stories with newly created Epics at all.
Only some Epics show up in the "Add parent" dropdown from a Story. The only Epics that do show up in that dropdown are ones that were imported into the project rather than ones that were created from within the project.
As demonstrated in the screenshots, the "End User Performance: Routing" Epic shows up in the backlog/roadmap view, but does not show up in the "Add parent" dropdown.
If we go into the Epic from the backlog to associate stories, we're only allowed to create new stories rather than link existing stories as children. Conversely, from the "Add parent" window we can only add already existing Epics and can't create new ones.
Please help! We have so many orphaned stories and need to track these via Epic.
