Epic link default value

Hello, 

What's the default value of an epic link.

This is the issue:

I have a default tempo account associated with the project, but when the issue has an epic link I would like that tempo account is removed set to empty

So I achieved this using JSU

I added an extra step to workflow, for this added a precondition(JSU) if epic link != empty set field value "Account" to empty if don't change the account.

It works but it work's all the time, it behaves like the precondition is always true.

Any advice on why?
