Epic Level Dashboard to show Child Progess Bar ?

Hi, 

Is there a way to create a gadget that will be able to show me all the epics of a current project but show me the data from the child work items on how long things are in progress or Done ?

I have been trying to use the custom list gadget to represent this but I am unsure if this is even possible ?

Not sure if this can be achieved natively. However If you are fine to explore a mktplace solution, I can suggest our app

Issue Hierarchy 

The app also allows you to view your project issue hierarchy in a tree view. You can view %complete progress at each parent level. It rolls up the time tracking fields, story point or numeric fields at each parent level. The app can be added to a dashboard as well.
