Epic Filter for Kanban

This filter shows for one of the team managed projects I have already, but I am not sure how to do it for a company managed one. It also does not show any JQL for the one on the team managed one so I cannot replicate. 

I need a filter that allows you to show only certain epics on a board. It should create a dropdown list of selectable epics that you can click and it will only show issues in that epic. 

Here is an example of the one in the team project:

The dropdown Epic quick filter is available only on boards for Team Managed projects at this time.

There is a change request to add that to Company Managed boards:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-6949

The other alternative is to manually create Quick Filters for each Epic or to look for a third party app that would provide the functionality.
