Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue enabling my epic filter on my backlog view. I've created several epics, and in previous organisations have had the ability to filter the backlog on epic or version. I can see the version filter OK.
According to https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/enable-the-backlog/ I need to:
Navigate to your next-gen project.
In your project’s global menu (sidebar), select Backlog.
Click the Epic dropdown filter.
Click the Epic panel switch at the bottom of the filter list:
Unfortunately I can't see an Epic dropdown filter or panel switch.
Seemingly, it should look like this:
But I see this:
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Mel
Hi @Mel Jensen ,
Welcome to the Community! I can see in your screenshot it is the classic Project not the Next-gen. Please check your project type.
You will be able to see this option in the Next-gen Project from the top menu of the epic.
Please see this attachment.
Here is my Classic Project and it is similar to yours it means you are looking for this option in the classic not in the next-gen.
I hope it will help you.
Many thanks for the warm welcome, and for the solution! I converted the project and got it working as expected.
Thanks again!
