I am using latest version of Jira 8.4. And sometimes we are facing issue of blank Dashboard for some users. Some users can access Jira and do their job, whereas some users are stuck in dashboard and can not see any project or dashboard and see only empty page with nothing.

Also there are a lot of javascript errors

I use nginx as a proxy server to give access on port 443 and maybe it is because of that. Any advice I think will be helpful

Hi,

Sorry to hear there are a number of javascript error here.   It certainly appears that several needed javascript and elements are simply unable to be loaded in the client browser here.  Given the first error we can see there, it looks like this problem has been common enough for Atlassian to create a KB on the topic, please see Some users get ERR_INCOMPLETE_CHUNKED_ENCODING error on some actions in JIRA (or any other application).

It does tend to indicate that this usually is not a problem with Jira, but instead it tends to be the client or possibly the firewall/proxy (nginx in this case).   I would recommend trying to walk through the KB How to run Jira behind a NGINX reverse proxy.  This guide includes configuration steps for both NGINX and Jira.  I suspect that the server.xml in Jira might be missing the

proxyName="www.atlassian.com" proxyPort="443" scheme="https"

parameters needed on that connector.   If that is not the case, I would be interested to see if we can learn more about your NGINX configuration and your $JIRAINSTALL/conf/server.xml configuration to try to help here.

Please let me know the results.

Andy
