when I am in one of the project settings under "Email requests" and I try to put in a custom email account, I would have to use StartTLS, but I cannot find a way to choose/select it.

I am sorry for unnecessarily posting on here. But I figured out that my Mail Provider sent me the wrong server information. I will come back to this thread tomorrow, after I have received the new server information.

Okay before I tried configuring this from a single project settings page. I now tried this guide: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/create-issues-and-comments-from-email/
And went to "System -> Mail -> Incoming Mails" and configured the mail server with the settings I know work in Thunderbird etc.
After configuring a Mail Handler I tried the connection but it didn't work.
My closest guess is, that i am not able to precisely choose the Security Method.
