We are struggling with getting email reminders to work the way we want with Automation in JiRA.
What we want is to have ONE reminder sent out after a number of days to either the Reporter or the Assignee depending on which status the issue is in. Example: Every day run JQL status = "In Progress" and updated < -6d
If the checkbox "Only include issues that have changed since the last time this rule executed" is checked then the rule works fine once, but say that the issue is then updated and then lies 6 days more then no notification is sent out.
If the checkbox is not checked then one email will be sent out everyday until issue is updated, which is not ideal since inboxes will get flooded.
Is there a clever way to achieve this that we are missing?
Please note that I do not have full admin rights to JiRA and requests etc. is via IT-support. They have not been able to solve this issue for us.
