Hi, we originally got the info that we have 100 emails per day free in jira team managed service desk, now we get this message since yesterday although we usually don't even send 10 emails per day. What could be the reason for this and where can we check the number of emails?
regards!
Jira Error Message:
Email notifications are off until xx/xx/24 (next day)
You've sent the maximum number of notifications in 1 day for your plan. This limitation will be removed when you move to Standard/Premium (paid) plan after your evaluation period.
Hi @MF -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I recall the 100 email limit for the Free license level spans all emails sent by the site for any notifications and automations.

Hi @MF
Welcome to the community.
Are there any automation rules active sending mails, besides the default customer notifications?
Have a lot of issues been raised in a single day?
Have a lot of issues been resolved in a day?
Many actions could have been the reason, more then a 110 email where sent in a day.

No we do not use automation rules (just onetime autorespond when a ticket is opened), it looks as if something is no longer working or counting correctly. Maybe it's a software error because we currently have very few emails about it that is way under 50 also with answers.
Nevertheless, the opening ticket message still appears in Jira but no answers that are answered via the Jira web interface in the ticket go back to the customer when this message appears.
It has been working again for the last few days and today this message came again:
Email notfifications are off until ... You've sent the maximum number of notifications in 1 day for your plan.
We use our external email server address (email and password), which has worked well so far.
Perhaps the technicians can take a look at this please. What would be the best way to report it?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @MF
Only on created, or are other customer notifications also active?
Do you have other projects with notifications active, see notification scheme on a project.
The limit, my understanding, is a 100 email sent by Jira (total), not just JSM.
