Dear supporters
I noticed that all Jira admin users are not getting any email notifications since October 5. We have not changed any configuration in our notification scheme. I have followed the instructions
I found on this post (https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/90944/jira-on-demand-email-notifications-not-working-suddenly). It seems that the problem is not related to the mail server, since I have got the test message I sent through Jira interface.
Could you guide me on solving this issue?
Thanks
Hi,
I'm having similar issues using Jira 5.1.6.785.
Issue I'm having is that some user do receive mail via "Send mail" as well as via the issue tracker and some don't receive mail via both methods. I'm a beginning user and might not be aware of something I should be aware of solving this issue. ;)
My own account is one of the not-working accounts. I'm having administrator rights and are member of the groups assosiated with the project. My preferences are set to "Receive own events = true" and User preferences are set to "Notify me". The project is assosiated with the "Default notification scheme".
If I send an email via "Send mail" to a group, which I'm member of, the mail is sent succesfully and the mail queue is empty afterwards. The group consists of 8 members of which 2 members (including me) do not receive the mail. I don't have access to the logfiles on the server, but also do not know how to instruct our ICT-department in which logfile to check.
Strange thing: I followed https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ONDEMANDKB/Not+Receiving+Email+Notifications+in+JIRA+OnDemand and noticed that I don't have a "Notification helper" or "Permission helper". More Actions > ... Just doesn't have an option Notification Helper. Also administration console > Admin Helper> Notification Helper does not exist. Is this version dependant and not available in Jira 5.1.6.785?
Hope someone has another hint for me.

Please enable email debugging from the administration interface and check the logs, also cross check your notification scheme to ensure there are no issues associated with them.
