Hi there!


Brand new to Jira and exploring Kanban boards. I have two quick questions. 

 

1. Can I create a new issue on a KanBan board via email? 
2. Can I create an email once an issue has been pushed to the "Done" column. I've looked through the notifications but don't see anything specifically related to when it hits done, just "issue move" type thing.

1. Yes! Review the information about configuring email handlers.

2. Yes! You have two options.

In Notifications the Issue Closed or Issue Resolved events might serve your purpose for sending email when an issue is put into the Done column.

Also, you can use Automation for Jira to send an email for specific issue transitions.

Awesome!! I was just messing around with Automation and noticed I could do it with those transitions that's awesome!

Thanks for sharing the link on my first quesiton as well. This is going to be super useful!
