Email Automation to specific users

Hi Guys

I wanted to know, if i can send an automatic email to a specified user/users linked to a specific issue type, informing them a ticket has been allocated to them?

Hello,

You should use Jira notifications scheme to do this. There is the Issue Assigned event. I guess, that is what you need. You can find more info about Jira notifications here:

Thank you Alexey, Ill give it a shot. I think the automation feature allowed me to do the same.
