Editor crashes when editing Jira tickets or confluence pages - MacBook Pro

Does anyone else have a problem with trying to edit jira tickets or confluence pages.  The editor completely locks and page is frozen cause a forced quit of the browser.

I am using MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)Catalina v 10.15.6

This is quite odd. I would suggest the following 

1. test with different browser
2. restart Mac and retry

i have never seen this and I would say it is either the browser, you Mac or your instance of Jira install. Let me know the result of the above.

I can edit this ticket no problems but on our company instance it doesnt work.  tried it on all the commonly used browsers and it is the same behaviour.
