Editing widgets have disappeared how do I get these back?

Like the ability to make text bold, underline, bullet points etc

Hi Jack,

Can you share specifically where you are seeing this, is it a custom text field or the description? can you also share if you have made any changes recently to your Field configurations? 

From personal experience if its a text edit field you can change the renderer (configurable in the field configuration) from a default text editor to a wiki style editor to enable options like bold underline and bullet points.
