Editing Access

I'm hoping to use this platform as a teacher to push out projects/ideas for parents.  But I don't want them to be able to edit my boards.  Is there a way to do this so that only I, as the admin, can edit the boards?

Just for a better understanding of your use case, I would like more details about what the parents should see.

Do you need them to only access the boards?

What information do they need to access?

I don't see your email linked to any Cloud site, are you using a Free or Standard plan?

I'm asking for more details because maybe you could use Jira Service Desk + Confluence to communicate with the parents and share the projects with them using the knowledge base in the customer portal.

Also, using the customer portal and knowledge base you won't need to pay a license for each parent, because they will be customers in Jira and not internal users.

This is just an idea that may help you allow them to see only the necessary information.
