Hi,
I hope some could help me with my issue. I have been tinkering about this for hours and could not figure out what's wrong.
I created a project to track our issues (bug). I created a tab view as well. As a administrator, I could see the Edit button, but other users cannot. I tried the Permission option but still no success.
Refer to the attached for sample of what I could see and what other users can see.
Please help.
Hi Zaldy,
Your users are using the new Jira issue with you which does not have an edit button. All fields appear on the right hand side and can be edited whether they have a value or not.
You are using the old Jira issue with has an edit button to change values you want either on the screen and are visible or not on the screen because they do not currently have a value.
Hi John,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I guess my next question is... how do make the users or group the old Jira issue view?
Thanks,
Zaldy
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Each user will need to to do that themselves by clicking on their avatar in the right hand side and then choosing settings. Then about half way down the page is a section called Jira Labs. You can toggle on and off the new Jira issue view there.

Hi John,
Thanks for the help. I have been spending hours and pulling my hair to figure this out.
You are right, there's a toggle to switch back to the "old" way of viewing the issue.
I appreciate your prompt help.
Have great night
