Dynamic select list depending on custom field

I want a multiple select list which shows different options depending on the option i select in another custom field of single select type. 

How to do it with a script to do it using behaviour. I have already seen all the related questions like to hide fields dynamically but please I want answer to this particular question, examples aren’t helping.

Hi, before creating the behavior should I create the custom fields with all the options possible? Also, any other configuration needed?
