We have the due date set as a mandatory field for Tasks.
When creating Tasks via the Desktop website the due date field is visible, the due date can be set and Tasks created.
In the Android mobile app no due date field is visible, not even under "more". Consequently the due date cannot be set and hence it is not possible to create Taks via the mobile app.

Testing on my local site, I set the Due Date field as required via Validator on the workflow and added the field to the Create issue screen.
After that, I tested it on my Android mobile and the field is visible. The screen configuration is different on Mobile and it’s not in the same order as the Web version, so the Due Date, in my case, was almost the last field on the list.
I tested on Android 10 and Jira v69.0.513.
Have you tested adding this field as required on another issue type or making it required for all on Project settings > Fields?
If you make the field not required, are you able to edit the value after the ticket is created?

I wanted to test this again and send a screenshot of the due date field not being visible, but it appears that the issue has solved itself without us changing anything in the Jira configuration.
