Hello all,
I hope that this message finds you well! Our team is looking for an option for a double bar chart in a Jira Dashboard, where users can select one field on the X-Axis to display/compare two fields on the Y Axis?
For example, if you have the issue type/work type on the X-axis and want to compare each issue type for two number fields, number in field A and number in field B and then compare each field comparison to the other issue types, with the Y axis being the count. Are there any recommendations to achieve this configuration or a similar configuration with apps/gadgets within Jira? Any recommendations, including alternative recommendations that allow a similar comparison but not in a double bar chart format, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
If you would be interested in a mktplace app, I can suggest
The app allows you to build interactive Jira dashboards with powerful charts, gadgets, and reports. Visualize issue progress, team workload etc
There are multiple configuration and customization options which the apps provides. Some of the sample charts are as below.

I’m not sure I fully understand your request.
Could you please provide an example (for instance, created in Excel) or a simple sketch showing how you expect this chart to look?

I am not sure you can meet exactly these requirements with Jira's out-of-the-box functionalities. If you are open to a marketplace solution, I recommend Mindpro Insights. I work at Mindpro, and I believe the app can help with this scenario.
It allows anyone to create and share dashboards with dynamic gadgets easily. It means when you click on a chart segment, the entire dashboard adapts to the filter. You can choose from over 50+ available.
There are also custom gadgets that you can configure as needed. Some of them offer the option of crossing two different fields in stacked bar, line, or table format, as you can see in the image below:
I hope that helps.
Regards,
Eduardo
