Hello,

I am having an issue when I close a sprint.  I have a "Done" column and a "Withdrawn" column.  When I close a sprint only the Withdrawn items are being listed as completed.  The items in the Done column are not showing as completed.  Which means I can either put them back in the backlog or put them in another sprint.

I would like items in the Withdrawn and the Done column to both show as complete at the end of a sprint.

I reviewed the workflow and both columns are a done status.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Monique

Ok, that's great, but only one column means "done".  Only the last (right hand) column on the board matters when looking at "done".  The right thing for you to do here is map "withdrawn" and "done" into the same, rightmost, column on the board.

"done" does not mean an issue has been worked on and absolutely completed.  "Done" is relative to the team that the board is representing, and it means "this team do not need to do anything more with this issue".  Your "withdrawn" status probably matches that, so it's good to put it in the "done" column.

Hi @Monique Ewing welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Are you in a company-managed or team-managed project?

Do the transitions to the "Withdrawn" status(es) set a resolution?

Normally only issues in the far-right column are considered completed, so you might want to merge the Done and Withdrawn column to 1 column with 2 "Done" statuses.

This is a team managed project.  How do I know if a "resolution" is set?  How to do I merge the two columns Done and Withdrawn?

If an issue has a resolution set, it is often drawn with a strikethrough, and it won't appear in any "needs doing" reports (except sprint reports when it's not "done")
