Does the PowerBI Connector add-on allow you to track sub-statuses?

From what I can see, Jira natively only tracks time within the broader status categories :"To Do," "In Progress," and "Done", but not the sub-statuses. So for example, I can't currently see how long a ticket has been sitting in "Waiting for Customer" or "Waiting for Support," which would be really valuable to track.

Does the connector allow for this type of tracking? Currently, exports to csv and uploading them into PowerBI does not allow for that level of tracking.

Hi @Kianna Lavigne

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

If by sub-statuses you mean actual Jira workflow statuses such as Waiting for Customer and Waiting for Support, then yes,  this is possible with Power BI Connector for Jira by Tempo. We are using this one, for example.

The connector provides Time in Status data, so you can report on how long a work item spent in each workflow status, rather than only looking at the broader To Do / In Progress / Done status categories.

Documentation here.

If you're referring to a different Power BI Connector Marketplace app, could you share its name/link? The available historical and time-in-status data depends on the specific connector.
