We have recently acquired a company that uses Atlassian the same as us. Both orgs are on the premium license and use their own identity
Which of the following statements of my understanding are true to avoid double license counts?
- An upgrade to enterprise allows both sets of users to access each others instance via their existing IDP. After the purchase of the license does that mean Atlassian reprovision access to both Atlassian instances using each set of identities over say a weekend
- An upgrade to enterprise license allows one IDP to access multiple instances. Meaning we would have to provision additional accounts from the preferred IDP and request Atlassian to repoint the old identity accounts to the new identity accounts again over a quiet scheduled time
