Does not render rich text for the Description field

We have one project (using separate schemes) in JIRA does not render rich text for the description tab whereas other projects (using another set of standard schemes) do.

Any idea?

Check if both projects use the same Renderer for the Description field on Administration > Projects > "Your Project" > Fields. 

The Configuring Renderers page describes further about this. smile
