We currently have Jira integrated with our help desk software. We have a custom field in our help desk system that will automatically fire off an email based on the status in Jira. Currently, the final status is "Done" but that doesn't mean the code has been deployed to the system yet. We would like to add one more status "Deployed" that will trigger an email letting our clients Know it is now live. The issue is when we have 70+ issues to move at the end of the sprint. Does anyone have ideas on how to make this process easier?
Sure. You can use Bulk edit. Just construct a JQL to resolve to the issue you wish to transition to deploy. Then click on the ellipses to find the bulk edit as shown below. Be sure to click the tick box for sending the emails on the last screen. Note: I recommend constructing an Automation rule that can be run manually for this.
