Hi everyone,
We are considering using the this feature "Store Jira data on you own device".
Has anyone implemented this feature?
I look forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences!
Best regards,
Markus

We recently had a discussion about it. One pov is yours, but our ISO has the following perspective: Every employee should use the dedicated, secure devices, else we have a different level of security breach anyways.
But we don't use it globally, it would be better to have as: Enabled globally and then each user can decide if they want to opt-in.

@Marius Fischer I would like to add: What you wrote is, of course, absolutely correct and also the path we are actually taking. However, we cannot completely prevent our employees from, for example, briefly logging into Jira or similar systems at a customer's site. Or, for example, logging in on their private cell phones. That is why it is too insecure for us and we would actually like to be able to activate the feature per user/group.

looking this up now... Seems like a completely under-discussed feature in a world where browsers are slowing our local devices down completely with added resource requirements.

I'm right with you. I would be very interested in hearing about people's experiences here.
