We are using Jira Data Center hosted on our network. I would like to know if it is possible to implement authentication policies so that we can enable different user groups to utilize different authentication methods.
Is authentication policy feature available in Jira Data Center?
Hi @teisyun ~ for Data Center that is configured here: https://<yoursiteURL>/plugins/servlet/authentication-config.

Thank you Laurie for your reply.
I know Jira data center support SMAL SSO, and we are using it, my question is about the authentication policy. The challenge we’re facing is that we need to set group A users to use AAD authentication, group B users using ADFS or LDAP authentication, and group C users using username and password.
is this possible?
Thank you again

Hi @teisyun ~ you should be able to set this up by creating separate directories. In the settings for each directory, just specify which group to pull in and you should be good to go! Ref: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver0904/configuring-user-directories-1188767893.html
