Does Atlassian suggest any naming convention for Group names?

At present, we can create group names in JIRA with spaces in between. Going forward will it be the same or do we have to expect any changes.

Thanks for reaching out about naming conventions for groups within the Atlassian applications. Currently, we don’t have any naming conventions we suggest users use as most options are supported within the applications. Typically your organization or directory management tool for users will determine the naming convention of your groups. If you have a team that administers your other user directories we would suggest working with them to find a naming convention that suits your requirements.
