Do we have API or similar to Update Listener(task, story, etc..) in JIRA

We have the requirement, To capture event listener with payload on any Story update on the JIRA.

Since we are using MuleSoft JIRA Connector - is there any method which supports?

Any API or similar where we can integrate?
