Do the issue links "depends on" and "is related to" need to be closed in order to close a sprint?

Do the issue links "depends on" and "is related to" need to be closed in order to close a sprint?

I have some open "depends on" and "is related to" issue links that are open and I need to know if it is possible to still close the current sprint with these open? They are dated from a while ago and I am new to this aspect of Jira, so I need to know if I have to get them closed off before sprint end. Many thanks

No.  Issue links have no tie to the sprint unless the linked issues are also in the sprint.
