I'm having a difficult time finding how everyone on my project board can receive email updates if the status of anything changes. I'm the Admin and the only person receiving updates.
Hi Tom! They do not need admin rights at all. You should check the notification scheme for the project in question. project > project settings > notifications. In there you can define which roles/groups will receive notifications for which events (create, comments, etc.)
Thanks Jack- appreciate the prompt response! However, I can see the settings, just not the notification setting that allows you define who receives updates. Does this have to be done at the time I'm adding members, can I go back and change the user setting to receive these notifications?
Thanks again for your assistance!
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Generally, you define a user into a role or group when they are added. That role or group is then used i the notifications. By default Users go into something like “Jira-users”.
