Displaying History in Next Gen - Why is the text lumped together?

When you view the history of changes in the Next-Gen project, the text breaks are removed and so the text becomes lumped together. You can no longer see the breaks in paragraphs which makes it difficult to compare the changes. 

Is there a way to change this? If not, what is the reason for removing the breaks and is there any plans to put them back?

Sounds like a bug, you could flag it with Atlassian's support team to let them know.
