Displaying Custom Field in the issus

After i have created a new custom field it only displayed on creating the issue but not when reviewing it. Is there any cookbook for that matter?

Sounds like you've got one of two common problems:

You've only added the field to the "Create" screen, but not the "View". I'd also check the "edit" screen.
Jira hides fields that have no value. Can you ensure that there is data in the field by creating/editing an issue and making sure that there is something in the field?
