Disconnected and multiple sites

I've had it happen many times, Jira and Confluence disconnected without warning or memo. Is there a way to get notified ? I've got this tied to Slack so when it comes to creating issues and such the disconnect causes problems because I'm not getting informative notices.

Jira and Confluence for Slack are separate integrations, pinpointing where the drop happens is pretty much a key.

Could you clarify if both bots drop simultaneously, and whether Slack asks to re-authenticate or if the site subscription vanishes?

In an affected channel, try running:

/jira manage — Checks if channel subscriptions are still active.
/jira create — Pinpoints the exact error message when creation fails.

It sounds like the Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud integrations are becoming disconnected from Slack, rather than Jira and Confluence themselves becoming unavailable. Could you confirm whether both integrations disconnect at the same time and whether Slack shows an authorization or connection error?

I’m not aware of a native Atlassian notification that alerts an administrator when a Slack integration loses its connection or authorization. If this keeps happening across multiple sites, I’d contact Atlassian Support and provide the affected site URLs, approximate times of the disconnects, and any errors shown in Slack. That should help them determine whether the connections are being revoked, expiring, or affected by a broader service issue.
