Disabled voting but ActivityStream lets you vote

We're in the process of upgrading to JIRA 4.4 and we having voting disabled on our issues (under Administration -> General Configuration -> Allow users to vote on issues is set to off). However, when you look at Activity Streams, they have a vote button. When you press it, you get

An unknown error occurred while voting.

I'm not sure how to disable voting on the Activity Stream.

Thanks for raising it. I just veriified in JIRA and it is a bug in activity stream plugin. Logged a bug in JAC for same, you can vote and watch the issue here.
