Disable or Modify Jira Statistics View

For each Jira project there is a Statistics view, reachable from the Activity view by using the "Switch view" dropdown.

This statistics view includes a section "Unresolved: By Assignee":

This causes some privacy concerns in our company. Is it possible to disable the statistics view or the "Unresolved: By Assignee" section?

Not sure whether it is relevant to you anymore.. But i was also looking for the same and not finding a way to disable only the "unresolved: By assignee" statistics but we can disable the whole statistics feature by disabling this system plugin

thank you, interesting approach! I'm not sure about the side effects, but if this really only affects the statistics, page, it should be okay. This statistics page is so hard to find, nobody should notice ;)
