Hello,
I know it's possible to disable web batching (batch.js) by using developer mode. Is there a way to disable the batching feature on its own?
The reason for my question is I'm having to use a Cisco ASA webvpn between my Atlassian servers and a few clients. The webvpn intercepts and rewrites code to maintain the ASA's position between the servers and clients, however it chokes on large files like batch.js. Cisco are unable to assist with this since the max filesize is a hard limit, and it's not possible for me to use IPsec (since the clients are using locked-down third party corporate machines)
I've tested the issue using developer mode, and it results in the webvpn working fine. However developer mode appears to not unexpectedly enable a ton of debugging which slows down my JIRA server to unacceptable speeds.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Philip
I'm afraid there's no way to do that, the system is in developer mode or it is not.
Developer mode is unsuitable for production usage because it isn't performant (turning off batching is one of the smaller things that slows it down)
