Disable access to issues that are not assigned to a current Sprint

I would like to be able to restrict access (users cannot work on them) to issues that are not assigned to a current Sprint. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Answer accepted

The only way out of the box is to apply a issue security scheme to the issues.
