Disable 'Top of backlog' option when right-clicking an issue in the Backlog

Dear Community,

with our company we use a common backlog with filters. When someone right clicks an issue and hits 'Top of Backlog', it does not only move its priority in the filtered view and in the whole backlog. So to avoid confusion we would like to remove this option.

Do you know if it is possible to remove these options?

We are on a Jira Data Center version 8.13.5

It's not possible natively.

It might be possible using a scripting App - such as Scriptrunner. Do you have an App like this?

yes we do have ScriptRunner! I have created some basic listeners and behaviors myself. But I am not sure how it would solve this issue, what would you recommend?
