Hi,
I am trying to build a project time-tracking framework within Jira. I want original estimates/timelogging to be done only at subtask level. So, when I generate reports, that will automatically aggregate/roll-up both estimates & time spent to the parent task and show % progress/time remaining etc.
In order to avoid user-confusion, I am seeking to disable-edits to "Original Estimate" (and time spent/remaining fields) in the parent task (say issuetype 'summary task'), while keeping all time-tracking fields active for the subtasks (say "summary task subtask").
Is this achievable? If yes, can you please guide me on how to do this?
